BOOKING PROCEDURE 

To facilitate your reservation with us, please adhere to the following booking process:

Submit all bookings in writing to the Company or through our website, ensuring inclusion of the following details:

  1. Full names and nationality of Guests
  2. Dates for the intended bookings
  3. Number of rooms required
  4. Special dietary requirements (if applicable)
  5. Provide medical and travel insurance details
  6. Indicate the source agent if applicable
  7. Use the following email addresses for specific bookings:
    – For campsites: camptites@ssb.travel
    – For ALL other bookings: res@ssb.travel
PAYMENTS INSTRUCTIONS 
  • All payments must precede per our terms and conditions.
  • Complete payment via Bank transfer for the FULL invoiced amount, mindful of bank charges.
  • Utilize the Reservation number as your Reference.
  • Submit your proof of payment to us at accounts@ssb.travel.
 
BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
  • Provisional bookings are held for two weeks, automatically released if unconfirmed.
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is necessary to confirm a provisional booking.
  • For confirmed bookings, full payment is due 65 days before travel.
  • If confirmed within the 65-day period, the full amount (100%) is payable upon booking.
  • Cancellations follow the policy below.
  • No cancellations or amendments without written notification.
  • Payments must be free of bank charges, borne by the payer.
 
BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY

The following cancellation policy applies to bookings for Safari Selections Botswana camps and services:

  • 25% cancellation fee (deposit forfeit) from confirmation to 70 days prior to travel;
  • 75% cancellation fee if cancelled 69 – 45 days prior to travel;
  • 100% cancellation fee if cancelled 44 days or less prior to travel and any no-shows.
OTHER:
INSURANCE 

As a booking condition, it is essential for guests to possess comprehensive travel and medical insurance, covering themselves and any dependants or travel companions. This insurance should encompass various scenarios, including, but not limited to, safari cancellation or curtailment, emergency evacuation expenses, medical costs, hometown repatriation expenses, as well as coverage for damage, theft, or loss of personal belongings, money, and goods.

INDEMNITY  
  • Safari Selection Botswana shall not be liable for costs arising from factors beyond our control, including but not limited to force majeure, war, riots, terrorist activity, natural disasters, health risks, flight changes or cancellations, and similar events.
  • We are not responsible for any consequential losses, whether direct or indirect.
  • Guests are required to address issues during their stay directly with the relevant Camp Management. Retroactive remedies will not be considered for matters not raised during the stay.
  • Rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
  • All legal matters arising from our terms and conditions will be governed by Botswana law.
