Day 1:
Arrival at Croc Camp
Your journey commences with your arrival at Maun International Airport, where you will be transferred to Croc Camp. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax by the pool, indulge in a spa treatment, or enjoy a drink at the Croc Rock Bar. Unwind in the comfort of an air-conditioned room at Croc Camp, complete with dinner and breakfast.
Day 2:
Mokoro Trip into the Okavango Delta
Embark on an early morning departure from Croc Camp at 7 am for a half-day Mokoro trip into the Okavango Delta. Operated by the Okavango Mokoro Community Trust (OKMCT), this experience supports conservation efforts. Glide through the intricate ecosystem of the delta, explore its meandering channels, lagoons, and palm-studded islands aboard a traditional Mokoro. Witness the wildlife, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and more.
After the Mokoro adventure, a 4×4 camping van will be provided at Croc Camp. Receive a detailed orientation before driving to Croc Camp Campground for a luxurious camping experience. Spend the night at Croc Camp Campground, familiarizing yourself with camping gear under the assistance of camp lights.
Day 3:
Depart to Khumaga Campsite in Makgadikgadi National Park
Bid farewell to Maun as you depart for Khumaga Campsite in the Makgadikgadi National Park along the Boteti River. The drive takes 2-3 hours, and at Khumaga Campsite, witness the stunning migration of zebras, wildebeests, and elephants. Explore the vast landscapes and enjoy the unique contrasts of the Makgadikgadi Pans. The campground at Khumaga offers 10 generously spaced campsites with essential amenities, including ablution blocks.
Day 4:
Explore Makgadikgadi National Park
Dedicate this day to exploring the wonders of the Makgadikgadi National Park. Immerse yourself in the diverse landscapes, observing the world’s second-largest zebra migration and the abundance of wildlife that thrives in this region. Experience the unique ecosystem where salt pans, grasslands, and riverine woodlands converge.
Day 5:
Depart to Khwai Campground in Moremi Game Reserve
Embark on an early morning departure from Khumaga to Khwai Campground in the Moremi Game Reserve. The journey takes you through Maun for restocking, ensuring you have ample fuel for the 3-4 hours’ drive via Sankuyo/Mababe to Khwai Campground. Set within the Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai Campground is a prime area for game viewing, offering encounters with a variety of wildlife, from hippos and giraffes to lions and wild dogs.
Day 6:
Explore Khwai Region of Moremi Game Reserve
Engage in a day of exploration in the Khwai region of the Moremi Game Reserve. Traverse the floodplain and woodlands, encountering an array of wildlife, including elephants, crocodiles, lechwes, buffalos, and an abundance of birdlife. Khwai Campground, with its well-spaced campsites, provides an ideal base for this wildlife-rich adventure.
Day 7:
Khwai – Xakanaxa Boating- Khwai
Enjoy the wonders of the region – taking a trip to the Xakanaxa Boat station for a Boat Cruise on the permeant waters of the Okavango delta.

Departure Day
